Sanqing Mountain Park was chosen as a world heritage site by UNESCO

Sanqing Mountain lies in the northeast of Jiangxi Province. These make it become natural-and-culture scenery with Chinese traditional culture, natural beauty and a large biodiversity.
With its Chinese moniker of "top one fair mountain in South China", Sanqing Mountain is divided into seven scenic areas, all of which still seem nearly untouched, with the magnificence of the Mount Tai, the fantasy of the Mount Huang, and the beauty of the Mount Lu. Sanqing Mountain National Park was listed as one of the eight natural wonders of the world by UNESCO in July, 2008. Mount Sanqing or Sanqing Mountain is located where Yushan County and Dexing County meets in Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, with the highest peak-Yujing peak which is 1819.9 meters high. Since its three peaks-Yujing, Yuhua and Yuxu Peak are like the “Three Qing in Taoism” ("Three” in Chinese is “San”), the mountain was thus called Mount Sanqing.

Sanqingshan Mountain in Jiangxi

The park consists of eight parts, including World Plaza, Oriental Zone, Oceania Region, European region, Africa regions, Modern Technology and Recreational Region, World Sculpture Garden, and International Street. It has 130 scenic spots in total, which are all worlds' historical heritages including the Egyptian pyramids, the Grand Canyon, St. Peter's Basilica, the Toure Pendente and the Taj Mahal. Transportation to Window of the World from Hong Kong, Guangzhou or other parts of  Shenzhen is easy since there is a station of Metro Line 1 next to it. From Hong Kong, you can cross at the Luohu crossing and take Metro Line 1 from there. Get off at the Shijiezhichuang Station (世界之窗站 Window of the World Station). From Guangzhou, you can reach Window of the World in about 2.4 hours from the Guangzhou East Station or Guangzhou Main Station by taking the fast train to Luohu Station (1 hour and ten or 20 minutes, 75 or 80 RMB or about 10 USD) and then walking over to the Shenzhen Metro stop in the same station at Luohu and getting on the subway train. From Luohu, the journey  to Shijiezhichuang Station takes about 45 minutes and costs about 5 RMB or about 80 cents.

The Former Residence of Chairman Mao is located at Shangwu Ground, Tudi Chong, Shaoshan village, Shaoshan Township. On December 26, 1893, Chairman Mao was born in this house, a simple mud-brick farmhouse, which has 13 rooms,and this is where he spent his childhood and youth, attending school and helping his father with his work. The rooms are furnished as they would have looked when Chairman Mao lived there, and most of the utensils are the original ones.
