Canton Fair has put Guangzhou on the trading map worldwide

  Canton Fair  is renowned as the Canton Fair. It is held biannually in Guangzhou every spring and autumn, with a history of 53 years since 1957. The Fair is a comprehensive one with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete in exhibit variety, the broadest distribution of overseas buyers and the greatest business turnover in China.

  While the China Import and Export Fair, as the event is officially known, has put Guangzhou on the trading map worldwide, event professionals believe the city has much more to offer corporate event groups.
  There are two types of invitation to the Canton Fair; the first is a Paper Invitation and it’s a bit of a hassle to get one – if you want to go this route you’ll need to contact the Foreign Liaison Department of your nearest Chinese embassy and ask them to process one for you. It’s time consuming and not usually worth the effort as there’s no added value over the second method.
